With over 35 years of experience in international trade, Susan has considerable knowledge of import and export regulatory requirements and broad expertise in the management of daily import and export operations.
Susan Pomerantz is responsible for leading Livingston’s global team of consultants in North America, Europe and Asia as well as managing day-to-day consulting activities on behalf of clients worldwide, including duty management, import and export operations and product management.
With over 35 years of experience in international trade and extensive knowledge of import and export regulatory requirements, Susan has successfully managed the daily import and export operations for clients, both as a service provider and as a private sector compliance manager.
Among others, Susan’s previous roles have included: managing a team of consultants responsible for helping clients meet compliance requirements, identify cost savings and capitalize on opportunities under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA); holding the role of president and CEO of Priority One International, an integrated logistics and consulting company; an acting as international trade development consultant to small businesses, with a focus on the automotive, retail, aerospace and defense as well as general industrial sectors.
A licensed customs broker and a certified customs specialist, Susan is a member of the American Association of Exporters and Importers and the International Compliance Professionals Association. She has been a speaker on trade education at local universities and compliance conferences and has served on the State of Florida’s committee for international trade and banking.
