JC is an experienced global trade professional with more than 27 years of experience in a variety of roles including customs administration, free zone operations, procurement, imports and exports, inventory management and consulting. JC also has focused expertise with supply chain operations software.
As a Senior Consultant with Livingston’s Global Trade Consulting team, JC has been delivering expertise in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia and the Indian sub-continent for the past fourteen years.
JC has more than 27 years of experience in a variety of trade management roles including customs administration, free zone operations, procurement, imports and exports, inventory management and consulting. Consulting projects that JC has led include trade compliance assessments and audits, implementation of risk mitigation programs, supplier network evaluations and distribution center design. JC has a comprehensive knowledge of global trade regulations including the U.S export and extraterritorial regulations. JC has also been instrumental in training and implementing trade compliance and customs administration teams in India and the Asia-Pacific region.
In his previous roles, JC has been responsible for business development, new customer implementation, and distribution center management. He has set up and managed the logistics and customs administration operations in the Middle East for several multi-national clients in the high technology, home and personal care, consumer durables and retailing sectors.
JC holds degrees in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Western Australia. JC has completed a training program on U.S Export Administration Regulations conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Industry & Security in Seattle. He has also completed courses in Supply Chain and Materials Management at the Logistics Institute, Georgia Tech, and at the National Academy of Indian Railways.
