TORONTO, Canada – Livingston International has acquired the assets of Dell Will Customs Brokers Inc. (“Dell Will”), Livingston president and CEO, Peter Luit, announced today.
“The addition of this southwestern Ontario customs broker, known for its excellent customer service, gives Livingston even greater traction through the Detroit-Windsor trade lane,” said Luit. “I am pleased that former Dell Will owners Rich Will and Dave McMillan have agreed to remain with the business, to ensure a smooth transition and continue to grow the operation.”
“We are excited to be joining Livingston,” said Rich Will, president of Dell Will in Canada. “What attracted us to Livingston was its technology, expertise and extensive presence throughout Canada and the United States. Our staff,” Will continued, “are looking forward to continuing to serve customers and offering them even more services down the road, as part of Livingston.”
This acquisition also includes select assets of sister company Dell Will Customs Brokers (USA) Inc., such that services currently performed by the U.S. entity on behalf of customers of the Canadian entity will transition over the coming weeks to Livingston International. No other assets of Dell Will Customs Brokers (USA) Inc. are included in the deal.
Founded in 1993, Dell Will employs approximately 40 staff in Windsor, Ontario. The company specializes in Canadian customs brokerage, consulting and small package services as well as e-manifest preparation for carriers.
