March 19, 2020 – As a result of the exclusion inquiry performed by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) on January 15, 2020 pertaining to certain heavy plate and stainless steel wire currently subject to the Safeguard Measures, the CITT has recommended the following stainless steel wire be excluded from the measure as follows:
Stainless steel wire, made in accordance to NACE MR0175, with a maximum hardness of 22 HRC, in the following dimensions and shapes:
- 0.090 inch width, 0.090 inch height, triangular-shaped wire;
- 0.090 inch width, 0.105 inch height, triangular-shaped wire;
- 0.090 inch width, 0.140 inch height, house shaped wire.
