The U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) extended some List 1 and List 2 exclusions from Section 301 additional duties for Chinese origin products that were due to expire on October 2, 2020. The extended ones are good for the remainder of 2020.
Exclusions for List 1, Tranche 8 used Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) 9903.88.19 when entered July 6, 2018 through October 1, 2020. Out of the 97 exclusions granted, 9 were extended, and 88 were expired. Those extended will use exclusion HTS 9903.88.60, and those expired will be subject to 25 percent additional duties using HTS 9903.88.01.
Exclusions for List 2, Tranche 3 used HTS 9903.88.20 when entered August 23, 2019 through October 1, 2020. Out of the 113 exclusions granted, 28 were extended, and 85 were expired. Those extended will use exclusion HTS 9903.88.61, and those expired will be subject to 25 percent additional duties using HTS 9903.88.02.
Additionally, the 3 below noted exclusions of Chapter 98, Subheading III, U.S. Note 20 had their exclusion description modified:

- (iii)(57) of HTS 3824.99.9297
