Beginning on Monday, August 10 at 7: 00 a.m. ET, members of the Longshoremen Union will begin an indefinite strike at the Port of Montreal. The Port has issued a notice outlining which services will be impacted, and which will remain operational:
Services that will be suspended due to strike action
• Berthage services
• Handling of goods at Port terminals
Services not affected
• Liquid bulk handling
• The Oceanex service (Bickerdike Terminal)
• The grain terminal (Viterra)
