Final Implementing Regulations for USMCA Released June 3rd

June 4, 2020 – The Office of the U.S. Trade Representatives (USTR) posted final implementing regulations of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) which will replace The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) on July 1st.

The Uniform Regulations cover the interpretation, application, and administration of:

  • Chapter 4 -Rules of Origin
  • Chapter 6 -Textile and Apparel Goods
  • Chapter 5 -Origin Procedures
  • Chapter 7-Customs Administration and Trade Facilitation
