On August 20, 2018, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) determined that the dumping of 54-inch Gypsum Board originating in or exported from the USA, destined for use or consumption in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories, has not caused injury or retardation, nor threatens to cause injury to the Canadian domestic industry. Consequently, the CITT has terminated its inquiry.
Consequently the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has terminated the investigation, effective August 21, 2018.
The subject goods are usually classified under HS classification number 6809.11.00.11; however, importers should consult the complete product description found in the CITT determination.
This follows the CBSA Notice of Initiation of Investigations made on June 21, 2018.
The statement of reasons containing additional details of the determination will be posted on CITT’s website within 15 days.
This CITT determination is found on CITT’s website.
