Anti-dumping duties are now being assessed on certain corrosion resistant steel sheet imported on or after February 22, 2019.
On January 22, 2019, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), made a final determination of dumping of corrosion resistant steel sheet originating in or exported from China, Taiwan, India or Korea.
Subsequently on February 21, 2019, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) issued a finding that the dumping of the aforementioned goods has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

The subject goods are usually classified under HS classification numbers 7210.30.00.00, 7210.69.00.10, 7210.49.00.10, 7210.69.00.20, 7225.91.00.00, 7210.49.00.20, 7212.20.00.00, 7225.92.00.00, 7210.49.00.30, 7212.30.00.00, 7226.99.00.10, 7210.61.00.00, 7212.50.00.00.
