The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on July 21, 2020, initiated a normal value and export price review respecting certain carbon and alloy steel line pipe exported to Canada from Korea by Husteel Co., Ltd (Husteel).
This review follows requests for re‑determination filed by an importer and is part of the CBSA’s enforcement of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s (CITT) injury finding issued on January 4, 2018, respecting the dumping of line pipe from Korea.
Further product details as well as the applicable tariff classification numbers of the subject goods are contained in Appendix 1 of the Notice of Normal Value Review.
If the exporter (Husteel Co., Ltd (Husteel) decides to participate in the normal value review, they are required to provide a complete and accurate response to the CBSA’s Request for Information (RFI) by August 27, 2020.
Should the exporter not provide a complete response to the RFI by the deadline date, any previous normal values issued to the exporter will be immediately revoked.
