2016 Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) applications for chicken and chicken products are now being accepted

2016 Chicken and Chicken Products, Notice to Importers No. 869

Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada are inviting applicants to submit an application for a share of the chicken and chicken products tariff rate quota for the period January 1st to December 31st, 2016.

The deadline to submit your 2016 application is December 15, 2015.

Please note the following key changes made to the Notice:

• The introduction of a new application form for applicants requesting an allocation for the manufacturing of chicken products not on the Import Control List (non-ICL group).
• The deadline to submit the 2016 application is December 15, 2015.
• Allocation period: January 1^st to December 31^st, 2016.
• Reference period: September 1^st, 2014 to August 31^st, 2015.
